Wills Murray is a certified AMG Instructor and the lead instructor for our partnership with The Lab in Monterey, California. Wills brings a deep background in coaching competitive players at every level, from junior champions to elite collegiate golfers and professionals.
Will's strength lies in quickly identifying the key bottlenecks in a golfer’s swing or overall game, and developing a focused, data-driven plan for meaningful improvement. Introducing Nick, our first in-house AMG Certified Instructor. We're excited for the AMG family to meet Nick and benefit from his exceptional instruction. With a coaching background spanning Major Championship participants, Korn Ferry Tour, LPGA, NCAA D1, and AJGA Champions, Nick excels at identifying the areas of a player's game that impede their progress. He then builds a game plan to attach those areas and turn them into strengths.

You'll come in to meet our head instructor, Wills Murray, for a 45-minute Swing Assessment using Gears 3d and Trackman for maximum accuracy.
You'll come to our facility, The Lab, address 2024 Del Monte Avenue
Suites B and C, Monterey, CA 93940 for your free assessment.
Wills will give you a full swing assessment, including pointing out swing faults, opportunties, and give you a complete plan of attack to improve quickly.

How do I book a Lesson or 1-Day School?
Scheduling is easy. You can schedule here on our website or from the AMGC mobile app which you can download with these links Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
From the website, tap on any of corresponding red buttons under the coach you'd like to work with. If you're an AMGC member, tap on the "member" button to receive your member's discount. Then scroll through the calendar to find available dates and times that work best for you. You can book and pay for the lesson right from there.
From the app, tap on "Lessons & Fittings". Select the coach you'd like to work with. If you're an AMGC member, make sure to tap the "member" option for your coach. Then scroll through the calendar to find available dates and times that work best for you. You can book and pay for the lesson right from there.

What if I need to change the date and time of my Lesson or 1-Day School?
If you're outside of 14 days from your appointment, just cancel and reschedule for a date and time that works better.
If you're inside of 14 days, you're appointment fee will be credit to your next appointment. Please contact support so they can make sure your credit goes towards the new appointment.
What is your Cancelation Policy and No Show Policy?
Cancel 14 days, or greater, from the start of your scheduled appointment you'll receive a 100% refund (minus any credit card processing fees).
Cancel within 14 days from the start of your scheduled appointment, and you may apply 100% of your paid fee to any future appointment. Please email [email protected] if that is the case.
Failing to show up to your appointment will result in a 100% loss of your fee.
What is the dress code at AMGC?
"Athletic" is in our name. We want you to dress like you would to train for any other sport.
Attire: Dress comfortably as you would for a workout. Golf attire is not necessary.
Shoes: Please wear athletic shoes without spikes or spikeless "nubs."
Clubs: Must be clean before entering the facility.
Do all the coaches use GEARS 3D?
Currently, GEARS is only available during sessions with Nick or in golf schools with Shaun and Mike.
